Package Installation imposssible

Post by jameschampion01 »

Dear All,

I have been trying to install new packages via the MiKTeX Package Manager. When I attempt to install the cite package I get the following error message.
No data,

Data: get host by name failed in tcp_connect()
Does anyone have any idea on how to get round this? I believe it may be a proxy issue of some sort.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

James

Just for information to other users for awareness of possibly already existing solutions. The question has also been posted to {TeX} SX. Please read what our administrator thinks about that.
