MakeIndex, Nomenclature, Glossaries and Acronyms ⇒ List of Symbols is not generated

Hallo guys,

I downloaded a template of a master thesis and use it now. But no matter how I try, it can not generate the right list of symbols. It can only show the page of List of Symbols, but the input of symbol did not show. Can someone help me to generate it, I have to hand in the thesis tomorrow.

Just for information to other users for awareness of possibly already existing solutions. The question has also been posted to MrUnix (German LaTeX forum) and has already got an answer. Please read what our administrator thinks about that.

A complete set of files is not helpful to find the source of error. Please reduce the problem to a self-contained and minimal example to give an adequate problem description.
