I have a few images in JPG and PNG format (simple logos). I was hoping that by converting them to EPS format the quality of the images would improve because of the vector representation of EPS format.
So I used the GIMP software to import the graphics and re-export as EPS. However, after opening the images in GSView and zooming they look exactly the same as the original JPEG (only that now the file is much times bigger).
Now I feel like I am not understanding anything about image formats.
Could someone please let me know if there are any options to improve the quality (resolution) of an existing JPG or PNG image?
Thanks.
