Integration of equation editor in TeXnicCenter

Post by dstelio »

Hi, is it possible to integrate equation author visual equation editor with TeXnic Center?

Equation Author is free visual equation editor.
I want to make it work with TeXnic Center, is there a way to make them work together so information/data can flow back & forth, like LaTeX code

What other programs work with TeXnicCenter, and how do they integrate

I would like a menu in TeXnicCenter with Edit » Math » Copy to Equation Author
or Edit » Math » Paste from Equation Author

is it possible, i mean through the windows API, you can find the running instance of equation author i suppose, and call it to paste / copy LaTeX math equations.

It would be great!

Is anyone looking for that?

Where is the sense behind that and in which way would TeXnicCenter (TXC) benefit? In my opinion the author should do most of his work with the keyboard. Any (additional) graphical element requiring mouse movement would interrupt the work flow. Mathematical expressions in TXC are better inserted with its given tool bars or directly via keyboard. TXC is constructed to write a document directly in LaTeX syntax.
