Altering the matrix panel

Post by moijk »

I've become a bit familiar with using latex now (albeit in my limited scope of a beginner), and my subject includes a lot of matrices. As helped previosly I'd been suggested, and have since been using the gauss package with the gmatrix-macro.

I'd love to use the built in macro function to create the gmatrix matrices. but when looking at the matrixpanel_1.plist the xml structure isn't what you call neither well documented nor inituative. Depending on the choices in the latex panel, it seems to use nodes probably at a fixed position.

So, I of course can just scrap everything and let it output what I want. But then I limit to just the one output since say the use of [ or ( is different than the way I will use it.

So my question is, can I somehow edit the dialog itself? In a end-user-way, not recompiling the source and all that. So that I can customize it to the extend I want?
