Backslash in monoshape

Post by svend_tveskaeg »

Hi LaTeX friends.

How do I get, say, ``\AmS'' all in monoshape?
If I type

\texttt{\AmS}

it prints ``AmS'' the `LaTeX way' and if I type

\texttt{\textbackslash AmS}

the backslash is not in monoshape.

(See the attached file.)

\verb|\AmS|
should work,

Though it does seem as if there should be another way.

EDIT: I thought of one: \texttt{\char"005C AmS}

(The backslash is UNICODE symbol U+005C.)
