General ⇒ withdraw footnotes of tables from "list of Figures"

Hi guys,

I've a figure in my document, and I've "attatched" a footnote. When I construct the list of figures it appears also. What can I do to withdraw it?

A very common issue. Use the short form for the \caption command.

Perhaps some basic reading like lshort would be good in such cases.
