WinEdt ⇒ PDFTexify problem in WinEdt

Hi,

I used to have a perfect installation. Last week my mighty Windows crashed. So, I now reinstalled WinEdt 5.4 (and 5.5 and now 5.6). It does not compile any thing. After the installation it gives me the error message that it needs build 20060724. And when I run it compile document IDChase.tex, it gives the following error.

Error Launching Console Application PDFTeXify ...
Command Line: texify.exe --pdf --batch --tex-option=-interaction=nonstopmode "E:\home-desktop\Professional\papers-for-submission\IDChase\_temp.tex"
Startup Folder: E:\home-desktop\Professional\papers-for-submission\IDChase

The system cannot find the file specified.

I have contacted WinEdt suppprt, they said I need WinEdt 5.5. But that did not work either. same problem.

Any suggestions? I would appreciate it very much.

Sorry, Daniel. I did not check the posts later. I reinstalled everything. It worked. Now I have a new set of problems.
