Just joined the LaTeX Community although I have been using LaTeX for a decade, primarily during my employment as a statistician and quantitative engineer.
I am now retired, but actively pursuing projects in quantitative bryology, including phenology of mosses and developing digital techniques for monitoring them. These include computational photography.
While I primarily use LaTeX for technical documentation, I also use it day to day for memoranda and letters.
I also have a blog.
