Letter w vs omega

Post by dsplib »

In mathematical formulas, when I type letter w, it becomes very similar to the greek omega. What is the best way to print a "triangular" letter w unlike omega in the equation.

Thanks!

Letter w vs omega

Hello,
In Equation case, if you want to use "w" as it is then you need to write it as a text.
For e.g.

Code: Select all

\begin{equation*}
	w = \text{w}+ \omega
\end{equation*}
Here you see the difference between w in Equation, Omega and text 'w'.

Hope this is what you required.
Thank you.
