In the attached file it is a very simple path draw using the plot option. However, an error message is issued compaining about a possible missing semicolon. I have not been able to spot the error. Anybody who can?
Best regards,
Kent Holing

Hi Kent!
I think it's caused by illegal characters in the document source, that's possibly not visible in your editor. That's what I see in TeXworks:
I get the same error as you:
But once I removed those characters, the error is gone and it works fine. Can you try it?

Package tikz Error: Giving up on this path. Did you forget a semicolon?

Hi Calvin,
welcome to the forum! Perhaps open the file in a different editor to visually notice illegal characters. You can also post the file as attachment here in the forum.
