Dear all,
MikTeX does not start in administrator mode. I get an error message (attached), which is not informative. How can I debug this problem? What should I check?
Thanks in advance!

MikTeX does not start in administrator mode
Thanks for the answer. As far as I see, to post there I need to determine that the crash I see is a bug of MikTeX, and I am not sure that it is; it might be caused by the configuration of the office computer, with network drives. If I were able to get some information on the crash, it would help: maybe how to get that information is a Windows question rather than a MikTeX question.
MikTeX does not start in administrator mode
The following worked (hopefully I kept track correctly of what I did)
1) Install MikTeX for me only (not for all users)
2) Choose as installation directory C:\Users\%myself\AppData\Local\Programs\MiKTeX 2.9
C:\Program Files\MiKTeX 2.9 did not work and also installation for all users did not work. If it keeps working I will not investigate in more detail.
