The new forum's interface ("temporary style", from the header above) is really HORRIBLE !

Why the change !? It was already PERFECT before. What style will be the new permanent face ? I suspect my old browser will not like it !

Hi! English is not my native language so I'm not really sure if I correctly understood you mean by »new forum's interface« – as far as I can see the interface is exactly the same as before (minus the tagging). Obviously the layout or skin has changed. But that's temporary and not the final look. This has to do with the fact that the forum software has been updated.

But maybe you are experiencing problems with the upgraded software. IMHO it is rather obvious why software (fixed security issues, improved features, …) is updated from time to time and as far as I know the update on latex-community.org was long overdue.

I'm sure our admin Stefan will add a few insights!

I'm not experiencing any bugs/glitches, it's all working. But it is a bit confused, and extremelly ugly ! The previous "skin" was MUCH clearer. I hope the upgrade will not change it.

Hi Cham,

I hope I have Internet again, tomorrow, to answer. I am on a ship sea test with rare connection when we are near a coast.

For now, just try to get a feeling how the interface works now. A main thought was readability on phones and tablets, the older skin was not readable.
