Compilation error with Friggeri CV [! TeX capacity exceeded]

Post by wieus »

Hi,

I have tried to compile the Friggeri CV template using XeLaTex in Windows 7. However, every time I try to compile i get the following error:

Code: Select all

! TeX capacity exceeded, sorry [input stack size=5000].
<to be read again>
\OT1\textunderscore
l.306 \RequirePackage
{xkeyval}[2005/05/07]
If you really absolutely need more capacity,
you can ask a wizard to enlarge me.
Here is how much of TeX's memory you used:
8234 strings out of 429292
156659 string characters out of 3169421
343877 words of memory out of 3000000
11533 multiletter control sequences out of 15000+200000
3640 words of font info for 14 fonts, out of 3000000 for 9000
670 hyphenation exceptions out of 8191
5000i,0n,2501p,10431b,293s stack positions out of 5000i,500n,10000p,200000b,50000s
No pages of output.
I haven't done any modifications to the default template, but it still gives me this error. Any suggestions? Thank you!

Hi,

welcome to the forum!

Could you please attach the .log file? Perhaps we might see more in it.

You could also try LuaLaTeX instead of XeTeX, if it's really a limitation and not an error in the files.

Thanks for the message! I managed to solve the problem by upgrading all my MikTex packages through update manager. Probably the problem was the outdated xkeyval-package. Now everything works fine.
