When i compile my file, I get the following error message:
[DocOpen("%bm.pdf")][FileOpen("bm.pdf")]
I use the latest Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and Windows 8.1.
I have seen that sever other people seem to have this same issue.
I tried changing the Server name in the Outputprofile to acroviewR10, acroviewR11, acroviewA10 and acroviewA11, since this seems to do the trick for some people. But not for me.
I also don't get any error messages and the pdf is created in the folder where the .tex file is. When I open it manually it works. But it would be nice if Texniccenter would do this for me.
I hope someone can help me. If you need more Information let me know and I will provide it as soon as i can.
Thanks in advance

Re: Texniccenter does not open PDF
I think the server name is acroviewR15.
Re: Texniccenter does not open PDF
Thanks a lot! That worked!
Re: Texniccenter does not open PDF
I am having exactly the same problem on the same system configuration with the same error message. However, the PDF file is not being created. After resetting to arcoviewR15, Adobe Reader will still not open. Abode Reader triggers and loads, but it does not find the file.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Re: Texniccenter does not open PDF
Forget it. I got it solved. Fix change setting was:
Under Build Definitions.
Change "Path to the (La)Tex compilier" to point to
"pdflatex.exe" and not to "latex.exe".
Also reinstalled, which picked up the new Adobe DC Viewer and the R15 server under the Viewer Profile tab.
