Changing the page margins

Post by templateuser »

I really like this template except that the margins are a little large. I'd like to make them a little smaller to fit in some figures and tables. Is there a way to do that?

I've tried reading the Koma-Script documentation, modifying the DIV and BCOR options, and using the areaset and typearea packages. Most of the time nothing happens and when I try to use the typearea package I get an option clash.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you!

Also, I tried using the geometry package to set the margins and nothing changed.

Changing the page margins

Hey,

I can confirm that the geometry package does work for this template, simply add the following just after \input{structure.tex} in article_4.tex:

\usepackage[left=1.5in,right=1in,top=1in,bottom=1in]{geometry}

Cheers,

The question was asked and answered before Geometry does not seem to change the margins.
The smart way: Calm down and take a deep breath, read posts and provided links attentively, try to understand and ask if necessary.
