Hi from all around the world

Post by saka »

Hi everyone,

I'm a student using Latex for my courses. I only learnt this tool by doing, so I would like to improve what I know about it, which is the reason I enrolled.

All the best ;)

Hi Saka,

welcome to the forum!

Learning by doing is fine. Reading about the underlying concepts is still essential, I think. Perhaps download my introductional ebook if you like, is's available for free at one day of this or next week (during 24 hours only), the day will be announced once it's confirmed by the publisher. Details are in this thread.

Hi and welcome,

we like to be up to date here, so feel free to read and contribute by asking qustions. ;-)

Reading an introduction is very useful though. If we would answer every question, that is explained in page 12 of an introduction, we would have a lot on our minds ;-)
The smart way: Calm down and take a deep breath, read posts and provided links attentively, try to understand and ask if necessary.
