Hello,
I'm new around here, I apologize if this is a simple question, but my Masters in Google has failed me.
My basic question is, where is the information I need to copy to get the LaTeX file to open in Scientific Notebook? Is this even possible?
I'm an alt media specialist. I need to convert LaTeX documents (Math quizzes, handouts, etc) to Scientific Notebook, which I will then braille for a blind student.
I'm basically familiar with LaTeX, but have never really used it. I've got significant experience in web development and scripting though, so I can deal with technical detail if you can help. Unfortunately the program I use to create the braille is hardwired to require Scientific Notebook's format of LaTeX.
I have tried the export as TeX and just opening the TeXShop LaTeX file in Scientific Notebook. It appears that there are some "include" files that I'm not copying over. and even when I was taking the source from TeXShop and tossing it directly into the Scientific Notebook source, it was throwing errors. The document source looked completely different when I manually copied one of the questions from LaTeX to Scientific Notebook. I assume this is a "everyone has their own way of accomplishing the same thing" situation.
So again, I've got a LaTeX Document, and I need to open it in Scientific Notebook. Is there a "generic TeX" that both can open? or am I out of luck?
Thanks for your help,
