Additional Dictionaries

Post by LoserFace »

Hi,

So I just installed TeX Live, I guess the 2012 version, on my computer. Pretty much the first thing I do whenever I install TeX Live is adding a dictionary, generally a .aff or .dic extracted from an Open Office extension (.oxt). Finding the folder to place these files has always been a little bit tricky, but nevertheless in the past I have been very successful at adding dictionaries to TeX Live.

This time, though, I can't seem to do it. I have pored over as many of the online resources regarding adding a dictionary to Latex as I could find, and none of them were helpful (even though in the past they had been).

So, basically, have any of you been able to add a dictionary to TeX Live 2012? If so, how? Cause I am pretty much stumped right now.

One other thing, I'm not totally positive it installed correctly, although everything does seem to be in working order, but I still wanted to get some input on this matter from the community before reinstalling it, which takes forever.

Thanks

Nevermind, solved.

Just put %USERPROFILE% into run, took me to my user folder, and there was the TeXworks folder. Don't know how I didn't see it before.
