MiKTeX and proTeXt ⇒ Problems with amsmath after a MiKTeX update

Hello,

users who noticed that amsmath or other amslatex packages don't work after a MiKTeX update, may have a look at this post:

The reason is a reorganization of the AMS files in MiKTeX. Synchronizing the repository via the MiKTeX package manager should help, see the post with screenshots for explanation.
