Dear all,
Now, I'm using TeXnicCenter to produce LaTex document but I've some difficulties with the 'Build Output' window: the errors are identified (ex: pdf Latex> ! missiiong inserted $) but the line number wher the error occurs is not mentionned....and when I click on the error ...nothing happens , I mean the cursor is not positionned on the error).
I suppose that I don't understand something in the software utilisation and/or configuration
Thanks for your suppoet
Thierry

Hi Thierry,
welcome to the board!
Which version of TeXnicCenter are you using? The most recent one is version 2 beta 1. If you use an older version, perhaps update before dealing with problems.

Re: How to find an error line number ?
Hi Thierry,
I don't have TeXnicCenter right here, as I currently work on Linux. However, one way I can tell is to look into the .log file, which contains the error and the line number where it occured.
