WinEdt ⇒ Change Name of the PDF Output

I'm trying to change the name of the pdf output within the code in the first line before document class with the line command:

%& -jobname= newname oldname.tex

And I compile with "PDFTeXify" button. Sometimes WinEdt creates the PDF but throws an error that only say PDFTeXify failed to create a PDF file.

I really appreciate any help.
