Hi all,
a few days ago WinEdt 6 began to compile always the same (open) file but not the current one, when I TeXify.
Do you know why is that? probably I accidentally changed some default.
Thanks.
WinEdt ⇒ Always the same File is compiled
Re: Always the same File is compiled
Sounds like I'm having the same issue, and I'm pretty sure I haven't hit any defaults. New computer and downloads of MikTex, Ghostscript, and WinEdt 6.0.
In attempting to remedy the issue I've renamed all of my files, deleted everything save the .tex files, and even re-installed WinEdt. However, every time I compile my main AMSBook file with documents that have been updated it compiles an unedited version of the document. What's more, if I change the name of the main file being compiled it removes the option to compile entirely. I'm about to reinstall an older version of WinEdt.
Any ideas?

Re: Always the same File is compiled
I've encountered the same problem today.
What I did was to uninstall everything of Winedt and reinstall it again. I lost my user profile since I didn't have time to back them up, sadly.
And, it is necessary to delete all the user profile at least for my case. (I tried not to delete my user profile and the same problem was left unsolved).
All the best,
