Hey there,
Have just installed new version of TexNicCenter and Miktex.
When I try to build and view an exising file that I know works, I get the errors shown on the attachment?
Seems very strange?

Re: Error (I don't understand)
It could be related to the on-the-fly package installation of Miktex. Try to manually install missing packages, if there are. Or try to set the "Install missing packages on-the-fly" (in "Settings", in the start menu of Miktex) to "Yes".

Re: Error (I don't understand)
It says that the caption package is missing. Just install it with the Miktex package manager.
Re: Error (I don't understand)
Thanks for this.
There was another post in the forum where a user had a similar issue.
I am using windows 7 professional (64 bit).
He had exectly the same symptoms as me, but managed to fix it by reinstalling miktex.
Well I did this (three times) but eventually it has started working?
bizarre or what?
