Highlight in PDF from Source, and vice-versa

Post by JeffBrown »

Hi,

The other day I stumbled on a keyboard shortcut that took me from the source code, where I had highlighted some set of commands, to the PDF, where it had highlighted the result of those commands. But I can't remember what the shortcut was, and I don't know how to look it up because I don't know what that trick is called.

Does anyone? Also, is there a shortcut for the reverse process -- highlighting something in the PDF, and asking TexShop to show you the spot in the source code that generates it?

Thanks,
Jeff

Holding down the "command" key and clicking that word or line in either will take you to the highlighted counterpart. I'm not sure about the keyboard shortcut but it seems like it was "command+1" or something like that.
