OK, now I have found a clean solution regarding the width: The page width will now scale to your browser window's width with some upper (~1200px) and lower (~830px) bounds to ensure a good layout.
Excellent! Much better now.

A very good job, congratulations! :D

I would like to suggest something: is it possible to make the "new post icon", at the board index, a little more colourful? That's because, at least for me, it's harder to know which forums have new posts, just with a glance. I guess light gray and dark gray makes it a little bit difficult. In the old board index, the yellow colour was very contrasting, and I always knew, just by looking, if the forums I was interested in had new posts. I hope I made myself clear; you see, I have to think in Portuguese and then translate my ideas to English…

Anyway, I also wanted to say that I already solved many of my LaTeX-related problems, just by reading what other people wrote here. I still have several doubts; maybe you can help me in the future.

Again, congratulations!

I'd agree: it's a bit difficult to spot.

Thanks for the tip: Unread items will occur with a blue background now. You may need to hit reload in your browser once to reload the new images instead of using those from the browser cache.

Hi,

I have been experiencing troubles when trying to logout! For the past days, the only way to logout has been to click on the "Delete all board cookies" link at the bottom of the forum page; the regular "logout" link takes me to a "You are currently logged in to the private area of this site." page with a logout button that doesn't seem to work. Anyone in the same situation?

This is a well known problem. The LaTeX Community site consists of two applications: A CMS and the forum software. Both are extended by a plug-in to support integrated user management. This plug-in works fine for most cases, but unfortunately the logout of the CMS system (the one used at the moment) does not logout the user from the forum software. The vendor of the plug-in knows about the problem and I am confident, that they will provide a bug-fix soon. Until this happens, to completely logout you can use the new logout menu item in the bottom menu of the forum page.
