Well hello there! I would like to welcome you to the forum though I am new here as well. I have attended a technology seminar and talk which I have participated as well. And one of the requirements given by those who put up the whole talk was to make use of latex as the core outline for everything. They gave a template for you to work on so that would be easier to handle and get them to be uniform.
