Hello,
what can I do to update the auto-complete function in bibtex?
I love the bibtex auto-complete function and I'm frequently using it, because I have a huge database of literature which I have to cite from.
Unfortunately the autocomplete function somehow stopped to update and integrate newer entries.
Therefore, only old entries from the literature database are suggested and but newer entries do not show up and are marked as `missing citation' in the document, even though they are definitely there and they also show up when I compile the document.
I would be very grateful if somebody had a solution for the problem, I really miss the function.
I tried to use \bibliography{bibtexdocument} in the preamble, as suggested here, but it did not work.

Welcome,
this is the genral forum on question regarding LaTeX bibliographies. Your question seems to be related to using a specific editor that you did not mention. Which one are you using? The team can move your question to the right sub-forum.
You are talking about missing citations. To be sure, this means the editor shows them as missing, they are working when compiling a pdf?

The smart way: Calm down and take a deep breath, read posts and provided links attentively, try to understand and ask if necessary.

Hello Johannes,
thank you for your reply and sorry for the confusion! Could you please move my question to the Texniccenter forum?
[Actually, I was initially searching for help on the Texniccenter website http://www.texniccenter.org/support/, but apparently the `support' link on this website is redirecting to the latex community website, which I haven't noticed. Sorry.]
