New to the Board

Post by jm^2 »

Hello to all. My name is Jean-Marc. I am new to all things LaTex and have been getting by using the, usually well written, manuals for the packages that I have been using. Some of them are, however, at best, somewhat obscurely written so I have joined the community with hopes to get help when I need it and in return give it when I can.

We like somebody who first reads the package documentations. That's what they are made for. For remaining questions the community will do its best to answer them.

Best regards and welcome to the board

Hi Jean-Marc,

welcome to the board!
By the way, if a documentation should need improvement it could be a good idea to write a message to the author, even if it's short. Sometimes I've written a small improvement concerning the documentation to a package author and he/she took it. Authors might appreciate feedback.
