I want to add multiple authors in my article and give the institute address and then give the email address of only the corresponding author in the article class file. Which is the most appropriate way of doing this?

You could print the title page yourself, instead of relying on \author and \institute commands and using a predefined title page.

However, as a quick way you could use the authblk package, see authblk manual.
