WinEdt ⇒ Winedt | Error Launching Console Application TeXify

Hello,

I've just installed WINEDIT and I have a problem running a simple LATEX document.
I get the following error. Any help greatly appreciated.

Command Line: texify.exe --src --tex-option=--synctex=-1 "C:\Documents and Settings\User\Desktop\tex files\test.tex"
Startup Folder: C:\Documents and Settings\User\Desktop\tex files


Error Launching Console Application TeXify ...
Command Line: texify.exe --src --tex-option=--synctex=-1 "C:\Documents and Settings\User\Desktop\tex files\test.tex"
Startup Folder: C:\Documents and Settings\User\Desktop\tex files

The system cannot find the file specified.

welcome to the board!

I changed the topic title. Next time please choose a meaningful title, not like "Help. plz. WINEDIT issues". Just imagine our forum would be full of such titles instead of content related titles - it would be hard to find solutions via forum search or google.

Besides WinEdt, did you also install TeX or LaTeX, respectively, such as MiKTeX or TeX Live? If not, the editor would not be able to compile.

I got the same error and I setup miktex2.9 then I still get the same error what to do?
