Theses, Books, Title pages ⇒ caption Error: numberbychapter undefined } error in Kile

Hi, while building it with Kile, i am getting the following error.

./classicthesis.sty:680:Package caption Error: numberbychapter undefined }

I am very new to latex and have no idea about this.

Hi Soumajit,

This is most likely caused be an old version of the caption package. Try updating your LaTeX distribution and packages to the latest versions, or in the very least get a new version of the caption package.
