I hope it does not count as double posting (see http://latex-community.org/forum/viewto ... 19&t=25812), but I get almost no space after inverted commas (see attached image) and I can find neither the cause nor a solution that does not involve manually adding protected space (which for me is not feasible since the document is hundreds of pages long).
The more I think about it the more I am convinced it is due to some package conflict, since I cannot believe that proper typographic rules produce such an ugly thing.

it actually is a double posting, but no disaster.
We will see where to leave it and where to close ... at least we have the link. Just provide further information. The best would be a LaTeX export of a minimized copy of your document, in the next post. Because under normal circumstances that inverted comma doesn't do that.
