No space after inverted comma (xeCJK+fontspec))

Post by clemens »

I hope it does not count as double posting (see http://latex-community.org/forum/viewto ... 19&t=25812), but I get almost no space after inverted commas (see attached image) and I can find neither the cause nor a solution that does not involve manually adding protected space (which for me is not feasible since the document is hundreds of pages long).
The more I think about it the more I am convinced it is due to some package conflict, since I cannot believe that proper typographic rules produce such an ugly thing.
Thank you for any suggestion and help,

Clemens

Hi Clemens,

it actually is a double posting, but no disaster. ;) We will see where to leave it and where to close ... at least we have the link. Just provide further information. The best would be a LaTeX export of a minimized copy of your document, in the next post. Because under normal circumstances that inverted comma doesn't do that.

Thank you for your kind reply.
I will post the minimal example on the thread linked in the first post http://latex-community.org/forum/viewto ... 19&t=25812
Cheers
