Problems with \chapterimage and biblatex

Post by templateuser »

Hi there,
thanks for the adorable template. Unfortunately, I have been unable to fully display it in my updated version of BaKoMa TeXWord.
Everything works fine except for \chapterimage, which leaves a blank page followed by a blank chapter heading, and the biblatex package which seems to be clashing with something else and I can't find out what it is.

Have you experienced this sort of problem before? Would you have any suggestion at all?
Thanks!

Hi,

I can't say I've even heard of BaKoMa TeXWord before so I'm not sure how to help except to suggest you update to the newest version and update all of your packages as well. This usually solves LaTeX problems! If you continue to have the problem I'd suggest installing MikTeX which should compile the template just fine.

Good luck!

Thanks, in MiKTeX it does go through alright!

Btw while we're here, do you think it would be possible to set Babel to [brazil] without clashing with too many options elsewhere? How would I go about that change?

Hey,

According to http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/LaTeX/Internationalization you need to use "brazilian" for the babel package, or alternatively "portuguese".
