SciWriter

Has someone tried SciWriter? From what I see, it looks like a kind of WYSIWYG latex editor that can generate .tex files.

SciWriter is not a latex editor, it's a XML/MathML editor for typesetting math on the Web.

But, SciWriter can export a XML/MathML file to LaTeX, and, in fact, if you write for the web and want a good print of your works, or your works both XML/MathML and PDF files, it can be a good idea.

I was surprised visiting the SciWriter homepage

http://www.soft4science.com/products/SciWriter/

It says that "This version is free of charge" :) . I hope it will remain this way.
