book icon

Post by melekzedek »

I need a book icon in LaTeX. I searched in many places but was unable to find one. Does anyone known a package that has a symbol of a book?

Thanks in advance

Have you looked at openclipart.org?

The beamer class uses for its bibliography icon template (among others) a small image which depicts a book. This image is drawn with PGF. The source code is available in the file "beamericonbook.tex" which can be compiled standalone. To find the file in the TeX installation tree simply use the KPAthSea library.

Code: Select all

me@notebook:~> kpsewhich beamericonbook.tex
/usr/local/texlive/2013/texmf-dist/tex/latex/beamer/art/beamericonbook.tex
The output of the compiled code is attached as image (magnified 10×).
