Kile ⇒ Flawed Compilation

Hello everybody,

I am a new user of LaTeX. I am using Kile as the editor. Previously I didn't face any problems. But during TeX Live installation by these commands it showed some errors.

Code: Select all

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:texlive-backports/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install texlive

And now while making the PDFTex in Kile I am getting an error message

finished with exit code 1

.
I would be really thankful if anybody can help me.

Try to repeat the installation of TeX Live. Think about installing a vanilla TeX Live and not from the repositories of your Linux distribution.

Don't look at the messages from Kile. Either view "Output" in the corresponding window or read error messages directly in the log file (*.log).
