convert .pfb into .pfm
how do you convert .PFB files into .PFM so that I can import them into the windows font folder and so use these fonts in illustrator CS6? I specifically want vect10.pfb in C:\texlive\2012\texmf-dist\fonts\type1\public\esvect to be used with illustrator CS6.
Re: convert .pfb into .pfm
Sorry, this is no reply, but someone might be encouraged to answer by my amendment. I have exactly the same question.
On my Win7 computer there are e.g. the files rtxmi.pfb, rtxmi.afm, and rtxmi.tfm which have been placed there via a pdfLaTeX run "on the fly". There is NO rtxmi.pfm and NO rtxmi.inf. rtxmi.pfm would probably be installable by a right click. But it is not there. Any ideas?
The background of my question is: I want to place formulas and symbols into pdf graphics in Adobe Illustrator CS6. I produce a separate pdf page by pdfLaTeX containing only these elements and want to open it in AI CS6 and pick the elements out by copy & paste and move it into the graphic. This is a very elegant way to get the formulas into the graphic. It functioned before on my gone XP notebook - however AI CS6 must know the font...
Kind regards
