No Connection to remote Repository

Post by lgawarec »

This error has not been resolved.
No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.
Any attempt to download installers other than "Basic MiKTeX" is met with the above error. Any attempt to change "Package Repository" results in the same error. However basic installation works.

Here is the complete error message.

No Connection to remote Repository

Make sure that the chosen repository is not among those which are offline.

Does that mean that you can't choose a different repository in the update wizard? If so, you have a general connection problem. In this case I can't offer further help because I neither use MiKTeX nor Wind0ws.
