Latex Toolbar lost
Hi. I lost my Latex Toolbar in Texnic Center. I can turn it on with a right-click on the toolbar, I can turn it off, I can set it back to defaults, it has no effect. It has disappeared, no idea why. I can still add the icons to existing toolbars with drag&drop from the command list, but I would like to have my toolbar back. 8O

Re: Latex Toolbar lost
Just do a rightclick on an empty place in the toolbar. Check "LaTeX" and you'll have the tools ready for use.
How to make a "Minimal Example"

Latex Toolbar lost
It is activated, still, it's gone.
He's passed on. This Latex toolbar is no more! It has ceased to be! It's expired and gone to meet it's maker!

I'm sensing the same behaviour...: Is there a connection?
Lost toolbar:mathematical symbols
I was looking around to reset any TC option to default, but haven't found any way. Where is the settings stored? I hope it's not about the worst scerario: 'no reset option to default' and 'options stored in registers'.
Cheers, Z

SOLVED by deleting most of the TC settings in registry.
Deleted registry hives:
The hives above have variety of subhives and keys. I have found one key pointing to a toolbar 'Tools' in
but a separate delete of this key did not bring positive effect.
I have kept a small hive
because there was nothing useful.
TC started as for the first time. I have to set everything from scratch, but I do have the missing toolbar back!
This way I give a '+5 stars' mark on the topic about storing settings more user-friendly:
Store settings in TXC folder (not in register). Thanks very much for considering!

Re: Latex Toolbar lost
This may me quite a stupid answer but it actually helped. I must have accidentally dragged the menubar out of place. I saw this thin blue line at the bottom of the TC window and it turned out to be the menubar I had lost, so I got it back in place by double clicking on the weird line.
Maybe it can help in this case?
