Processing a Sequence of Commands

Post by offroad »

Hi all,

Is there a way of getting TeXnicCenter to process this commands so I don't have to type them into the windows command line?

Code: Select all

latex thesis
makeindex thesis.nlo -s nomencl.ist -o thesis.nls
bibtex thesis
latex thesis
latex thesis
pdflatex thesis
Any help will be very much appreciated

Since TeXnicCenter (TXC) executes BibTeX and MakeIndex (for the regular index) automatically, you only have to incorporate the part for the nomenclature (seemingly done by the nomencl package) somehow. This is best done by creating a new build profile and use the post-processing capabilities of TXC.
