I am using LaTeX in WinEdt v. 5.5 configured for MixTex 2.9 and Adobe Reader v. 8.3 running under Windows XP. This setup has been stable for a good number of years.
I have a source including EPS figures. DVI and PS outputs are fine. Using the dvi2pdf incorporated feature of WinEdt (which uses dvi2pdfm I think) I obtain (without error) an output with all figures truncated to the right of (approximately) the central vertical line. See attachment below. Otherwise the figures are uncorrupted. The same corruption occurs when viewing the PDF output in Adobe Reader v. XI and SumatraPDF.
Obviously there is a problem with framing/masking. Can anyone please help me to sort this out? WinEdt has washed its hands of it saying it’s not their problem.
The detour dvi2ps2pdf works OK but there are some drawbacks (quality issues) to that I believe. Of course I can’t use PDFLaTex without some difficulty in converting figs to another acceptable format or other dodges all of which are a bore.
