moderncv | Add a Photo to a CV

Post by Pixer75 »

what I mean by "issues" is that when I compile I got the following message:
!LaTeX Error: File `tweaklist.sty' not found.

Type X to quit or <RETURN> to proceed, or enter new name. (Default extensiion: sty)

Enter file name:
Then I type return a few times and the .pdf is generated.

But you're right, since I manage to generate the .pdf in the end, these issues are not important. I thought it was weird.

Thanks.

Oh, sorry. Must have overlooked that. You just have to install the »tweaklist« package. It is part of the moderncv class bundle and should be located in the same folder as the class file.

That's one reason why you always should update your TeX distribution by its package manager and not just copy files manually into the TeX installation tree.

Well the `tweaklist' file is indeed in the folder. I upgraded my TeX ditribution with the package manager and it apparently worked. However, for some (to me) obscure reason, it didn't updated the moderncv package. That is why I did it manually.

Thanks again.

If you do a manual upgrade, you need to run "sudo texhash" after copying the files over. This fixes the tweaklist.sty problem.
