Build project error

Post by stephanie01 »

Hi,
I have just installed MikTek 2.8 in my new computer with Windows 7, and Adobe Reader 9.5. When I try to compile the project and view the output I get the error "Cannot execute command". I read that other people had the same problem, but I can't find any solution. Can anyone please help? Thanks!

Build project error

Post by Stefan Kottwitz »

Hi Stephanie,

welcome to the board!

As you said, this is a common error message, I have seen it often here in the forum. Have a look, for example, at All (and more) deal with exactly this error message. Depending on the problem information given, some have been solved.

Thanks Stefan, I couldn't find any solution yet, apparently there are files the program is not finding... I attach a screenshot with errors I get. Thanks

This screenshot is useless. Details are difficult to spot. Post the corresponding log file (*.log) as attachment (or the relevant error messages).

And if a screenshot is needed, don't put it into a PDF file. Image files in several formats can be uploaded very easy.

How do I get the log file? I also now see that "GUI framework cannot be initialized" . Does this help?
Thanks

The log file is located in the working directory (with the suffix *.log).
