General ⇒ TexnicCenter won't start - no _mbsncpy_s proc in msvcrt.dll

Hi there, I haven't been able to run texniccenter. After I installed miktex, I installed texniccenter Version 1 Beta 7.50. The problem is when I open it, a dialog box (error box - with a red X) shows up saying in spanish something that should be like:

"TEXCNTR.EXE - No se encuentra el punto de entrada"
"No se encuentra el punto de entrada del procedimiento _mbsnbcpy_s en la biblioteca de vínculos dinámicos msvcrt.dll"

"TEXCNTR.EXE - Can't find the entry point"
"Can't find the entry point of the procedure _mbsnbcpy_s in the dynamic link library msvcrt.dll"

And after that TexnicCenter doesn't start. It never shows its window.

Googling around I read something about the file msvcrt.dll beign corrupt so I restarted my pc in recovery mode with the windows installation cd and exported the msvcrt.dl_ again from the installation cd into my system. But the problem was not solved.

Later I downloaded Filealyzer from safer-networking to analyze my msvcrt.dll and I found out that there isn't an entry point called _mbsnbcpy_s, the only entry point my dll has that is similar to the one mentioned in the error box is _mbsnbcpy (without the ending "_s"). So now I don't know what to do besides from asking you... I hope someone can help with this one, thanks a lot!!!

May be worth saying that I have windows XP SP2 in spanish...
