Post by GMathews »

There's a first time for everything. Congratulations for your decision. Perhaps we can help to get you satisfied with this new way of document writing.

Greetings, GMathews.

I started learning LaTeX from scratch in April as an alternative to following in my predecessor's footsteps and generating all of my documentation in Word 2007. Couldn't be happier (though I've given the mods here a few headaches with all of my "newbie" questions). Cheers.

I have been for quite awhile now. I use Microsoft products as a necessary evil, but most of what I do at work and home is open source based (now if I could just find something that works as well as Visio...place don't say "Dia"). ;)
