Auto-completion

I have TeXnicCenter 1 Beta 7.01. I have made newcommands, like \be, for myself. The Auto-completion is becoming very annoying. All the time when I am typing, I have to stop and wait for the box that has "\beta" to disappear. How do I turn off Auto-completion?

Well I did not find any option to turn off auto-completion. But if you just keep typing the auto-completion box should disappear as soon as TeXnicCenter can not match your input any longer with one of the well-known commands.
