Add Package to the TeX System
I have a .sty file sent from a publisher that is not part of any distribution. I simply would like to use it. I have placed it in the same folder as the .tex file that I am using but this does not work. Where do I put this .sty file and how dow I make it accessible during compilation of my .tex file? Thank you so much.

Add Package to the TeX System
The MiKTeX Manual shows how to integrate local additions to the TeX installation tree [1]. But placing the package file in the working directory should work without problems.
