Hi there

Post by Pere Callahan »

Hi, time to introduce myself. A little late though since I already had my first question answered ;)

I am a physics/math grad student living in Canada, and in case anybody cares, I am (also) using Kile under Ubuntu and WinEdt under Windows 2000.

I hope to learn a lot here, and I think I will.

Pere

Hi Pere,

welcome to the board!
I'm using Kile on Ubuntu too, though I also tried WinEdt with Windows XP and I liked WinEdt, but I deleted Windows etc. because I could work very well with Linux.

My predecessor here where I work was a "Windows-only" person, while all the developers work in Linux. I have generated content in both and actually prefer Linux (Ubuntu/Debian), so when this opportunity came along, I jumped at it. KILE on Ubuntu does the job I need it to do to get my work done. ;)
