How to lock the position of a toolbar?

Post by Montag »

Hello,

I'd like to lock/freeze the position of the toolbars in TeXnicCenter. Is that possible, e. g. maybe similar to how it is handled in OOo's Writer?

(This is a screenshot of the German version of "Writer", "Symbolleiste fixieren" means "Freeze toolbar".)

The problem is:
Sometimes the bars' positions in TXC get reset by itself, I have no idea how to control this random issue, also do I occasionally misclick and misplace a bar, although very rarely. To avoid both problems, I'd like to lock the toolbars at their positions.

How to lock the position of a toolbar?

This is a LaTeX forum; OOo is pretty distantly related. Why not ask at Superuser or someplace like that?

Huh, as I wrote, the screenshot shows an example on how to lock a toolbar's position. Meaning it has already been done, in fact done by me, in OOo's Writer. :) But I edited my opening post to make it more clear.

OK, sorry. I read the forum posts though the "New posts" screen and didn't realize this was in the "General" TXC subforum rather than the "General" LaTeX forum. (I dislike how the subforums are named here, but oh well.)

Thanks for clarifying your post.

Sorry I don't use TXC.
